Ashley Scott began her journey at the esteemed LAMTA, graduating as the top student of her year. Her career started on the stages of Kalk Bay Theatre with productions such as Popcorn and Women On Top. She then ventured into film, featuring in short films such as Surprise! and We Were Here as well as the South African series White Lies. Ashley strives for versatility in her work, testing her ability in cheerleading, commercials, corporate engagements, and theatre, which remains her true passion. A significant milestone was the role of Liesl vonTrapp in The Sound of Music, marking her debut as a professional musical theatre performer. As she continues her journey, she looks forward to creating more stories and melodies while performing in The Magic Box.

Brett graduated cum laude from Rhodes University with a triple-major in Journalism, Music, and Law. In 2012, he debuted his original musical, Simply Broadway, to critical acclaim at the Joburg Theatre, and since then, he has written, produced, directed, and starred in several original award-winning works, including My Favourite Things: The Rodgers & Hammerstein Story, Elton: The Experience and Disney in the Park. Further theatre credits include Oliver!, The Sound of Music, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, The Mikado, and Paw Patrol Live. He premiered his multi-award-winning documentary, Call of the Wild (the first ever multi-sensory documentary) at the prestigious Silwerskermfees in 2023; which will also premiere at the New York International Film Festival this year. In 2014, he wrote, directed and starred-in The Man and The Mouse, detailing the life of Walt Disney. To now be playing the Mouse himself is a full circle moment and dream come true!

Ghia Hough, graduated from the Luitingh Alexander Musical Theatre Academy (LAMTA) in 2023 where she excelled as a triple-threat performer, graduated with distinction and received the Sylvaine Strike Award for Excellence in Clowning. She is excited to be making her professional musical theatre debut as Donald in Disney’s The Magic Box. During her time at LAMTA, Ghia delivered standout performances in productions such as Vintage Jukebox, Come Together, and The Seagull. She has also appeared in a series of VoxWifi advertisements and showcased her talents at prominent festivals including the Woordfees and KKNK. As a costume designer, Ghia's work includes wardrobes for Cosi and Call Me A Fool. Ghia is thrilled to have the opportunity to bring some Disney magic to the stage and looks forward to enchanting audiences both locally and internationally.

Tumelo was raised as a somewhat young amateur actor in the USA, went through training at the Round House Theatre workshops and had his first amateur performance in The King and I. He returned to South Africa to complete high school at the National School of Arts in Johannesburg. He recently graduated with a diploma from the Luitingh Alexander Musical Theatre Academy (LAMTA) in Cape Town and, trained as a triple threat, Tumelo has performed in LAMTA’s productions Mephisto, COSI and Being Steve, among others. Tumelo has also just finished the successful run of LAMTA’s Spring Awakening. Now he’s delighted to join the cast of Disney’s The Magic Box where he plays one his favourite Disney characters, Goofy. In his spare time, Tumelo is an avid reader, and an aspiring writer and theatre maker.

Nqobile Hlekwayo-Xulu is an established theatre, TV, and film actress, with grounded experience as a Production Manager at Trial By Media Films. With a passion for performing arts and producing work, Nqobile excels in both acting and production. Notable theatre roles include Linda in Letters of Hope: The Musical (2023), nominated eight times for the Naledi Theatre Awards, and Hlumelo in Remnants of a Dead Brain (2022). They also wrote, directed, and produced Catch-22 (2023) at Joburg Theatre. In film and TV, Nqobile starred as Amahle in Thin Line between Love & Death (2024) and Lizwi in Lizwi: The Film (2022). Their production roles include managing Happy: The True Story of Happy Sindane (2023) and a feature film, The Jobber (2024).

Born in the lively city of Pretoria, Pule is a professional actress, singer, and voice-over artist holding a BA in Theatre and Performance from the University of the Witwatersrand, where she graced multiple stages at The Wits Theatre Complex in productions such as NO EXIT: UYAPHI? (2022-2023) and Behind the Apron (2023). She was also the lead in Obett Motaung’s A Street Taxi named Desiree at the KKNK festival (2023) and the Innibos Arts Festival (2024). As a singer her credits include productions such as NURU The Musical (2022) and NYIKA YEMWEYA The Musical (2023) at The Wits Main Theatre. Not forgetting her most recent work at the National Children’s Theatre as a facilitator at multiple fundraising events in 2024. Pule is thrilled to be playing Daisy in Disney’s The Magic Box, co-produced by Showtime Management.

Graduating from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, Marco holds a BA (Hons) Acting, as well as a BMus in Opera Performance from the University of Cape Town Opera School. His theatre credits include Once on this Island (Regents Park), Lift The Musical, Mandela a New Musical, La Traviata and The Mikado (both Cape Town Opera). He also performed in the two-man show Land of Lost Content at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2022, which won Best Ensemble. He loves hiking and spending time at the beach. Marco is excited to be taking part in Disney’s The Magic Box. He would like to express his gratitude to Showtime Management.

Cindy-Ann's lifelong love affair with music propelled her to the prestigious UCT School of Music, where she honed her operatic skills. Her performance as a semi-finalist in SA's Got Talent in 2013 marked the beginning of a dazzling career. Since then, she has graced the stage in numerous acclaimed operas, from the classic The Rake's Progress to the beloved Le Nozze de Figaro and L'elisir d'Amore. Cindy-Ann's talents have taken her on an international tour with the renowned Evita Revival, including a run in China. Most recently, she captivated audiences in the local musical Calling Us Home and the evergreen The Sound of Music local tour. Now, Cindy- Ann eagerly anticipates her next opportunity to shine in the magical Disney's The Magic Box

Gugu Dhlamini graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand with an Honours Degree for a Bachelor of Arts in Dramatic Arts, specializing in Musical Theatre and Physical Theatre. Her theatre credits include The Pied Piper, Polkadots, The Cool Kids Musical, Ekasi Lam: An Ode to Kwaito, Janice Honeyman's Pantomimes Jack and The Beanstalk and Peter Pan, as well as playing the lead role of Alice in Alice in Wonderland. In addition to theatre, Gugu does voice overs for shows such as Paw Patrol, dubbed in isiZulu, as well as television and social media commercials for brands at large. Gugu is delighted to be a part of Disney’s The Magic Box and is extremely grateful for the incredible opportunity.

Nicolette graduated from Waterfront Theatre School with a Trinity College licentiate in Musical Theatre, as well as advanced performance & teaching qualifications in Modern, Tap and Street Dance for which she achieved distinctions. Most notably, Nicolette played the role Scaramouche in the We Will Rock You World Tour. Her stage credits include How to date like a F%CKING Grownup, The Producers, Spring Awakening, Urinetown!, Sister Act and, most recently, MAMMA MIA! Additionally, Nicolette’s zeal for performing led her to the Broadway Dance Centre in New York City for dance training and since then she has worked as Head Choreographer for Our House the Musical and continues to share her passion through teaching dance and musical theatre to aspiring talents across South Africa. Nicolette has graced television screens for brands such as Rand Merchant Bank, performed as a dancer for Nina Simone & Honne’s revamp music video of My Baby Just Cares for Me, and has been a part of Good Life and The Power on Netflix and Showmax respectively.

Gemma graduated from the University of Pretoria with a Bachelor of Drama, whilst also completing her Cecchetti, Royal Academy of Dance and AIDT Modern dance syllabuses. She then furthered her education at the Luitingh Alexander Musical Theatre Academy (LAMTA). Since graduating, Gemma has worked as a dancer for the ICC Woman’s Cricket World Cup and been a part of the film industry a dancer in the Showmax series, White Lies. Having just finished a cabaret show Pinned Up, Gemma is ecstatic to embark on this nostalgic journey and be a part of Disney’s The Magic Box as all things Disney have always held a special place in her heart.

In addition to theatre, Zoë works as a performing waitress at Stardust Theatrical Dining and enjoys reading and baking in her spare time. A graduate of the Waterfront Theatre College, Dirk holds a Licentiate in Drama & Musical Theatre and advanced certifications in Modern, Tap, Ballet, and Jazz from Trinity and the ISTD, London. His career features a diverse range of roles and experiences. He's been part of three Janice Honeyman pantomimes, starred in national & international tours of Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Chicago The Musical, We Will Rock You and MAMMA MIA! Dirk's theatrical credits extend to Othello and The Curing Room, showcased on South African stages and at the Grahamstown Arts Festival. He's not limited to the stage, with appearances in South African Soap Operas including Binnelanders, Generations, Isidingo, and two seasons of the Web Series, Signal High. Dirk thrives on versatile performances, continually pushing his boundaries to achieve excellence.

Ché-jean graduated from LAMTA in 2021 and leapt into the spotlight with roles in Buddy The Buddy Holly Story, The Sound of Music, and Spring Awakening. He’s also dabbled in film and television, commercials and series. A man of many interests, Ché-jean enjoys picking up new hobbies, including archery, jiu-jitsu, painting, and writing – though his attempt at knitting was hilariously short-lived. His eclectic pursuits may allude to his desire of, as the Germans put it, Waldeinsamkeit, the feeling one has while being alone in the woods. He’s eager to open The Magic Box and share what’s inside with an audience!

Mthokozisi 'Emkay' Khanyile is a theatre and television actor and singer. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Dramatic Arts and Music (Honours) at the Wits School of Arts (WSOA) class of 2013, with extra-curricular training in Musical Theatre singing facilitated by Gina Shmukler, Adéle Strömbeck and Bryan Schimmel. His Musical Theatre debut was in Beautiful Creatures (Montecasino Teatro, 2010). After completing his studies he cut his teeth in various children’s theatre shows (2014) and was subsequently cast in Disney's The Lion King, (ensemble and Mufasa 1st Cover) at the Lyceum Theatre, London’s West End 2015-2017). He was then promoted to lead Mufasa in the first ever Disney’s The Lion King - International Tour (which toured 11 cities in Asia, Oceania and the Middle East, 2018-2022), produced by Michael Cassel Group (Sydney, Australia). After almost 8 years performing abroad he re-entered the SA industry playing Ivan in Alice Gillham's Calling Us Home (2023) and has been cast in various television drama series.

She has also delighted crowds on the We Will Rock You World Tour and in MAMMA MIA! Additionally, Tannah is a signed recording artist with David Gresham Records, amplifying her talents even further. Tannah's dream is to share her extraordinary gift with as many people around the globe as possible, spreading her infectious enthusiasm and love for the performing arts.

Her theatre credits include We Will Rock You, Janice Honeyman’s Peter Pan, History Girls, Our house and Urinetown. Siya has also worked alongside top industry professionals on the international Hollywood film The Woman King, as Cindra. In addition to film and theatre, she has also performed at an engagement for Liberty Group and Showtime Management to welcome and celebrate An Intimate Evening with Gregory Porter and An Intimate Evening with Lalah Hathaway. Siya is thrilled to be a part of Disney’s The Magic Box and cannot wait to share this musical adventure with the world!

Tania found her passion for dance at the age of ten years with African dance and contemporary at Dance For All in Gugulethu, a township in Cape Town. At twelve years she began to be more focused on Ballet training at Ikamva Dance For A Change, Cape Junior Ballet and New World Dance Theatre. Tania has always been confident at showcasing her triple-threat talents since she was young, holding a prestigious Mabel Ryan Award for her Ballet Chechetti exam and many more Gold medal winnings from various different competitions. In 2018 Mteto graduated from the Cape Academy of Performing Arts where she majored in dance, acting and musical theatre and has been working professionally since then. Her theatre credits include: Hansel and Gretel 2019, Evita The Musical 2019- 2020, We Will Rock You 2022-2023 and Janice Honeyman’s Pantomime Peter Pan 2023 as Princess Lotus Lily.

Sibusiso trained at the Lady Grey Arts Academy and UCT School of Dance and has qualifications from Trinity College and Royal Academy of Dance. His theatre credits include Spring and Fall with Cape Town City Ballet, A Spartacus of Africa National Tour with SANDT and Carmen with Cape Town Opera. He has also appeared in La Traviata, West Side Story, King Kong, Funny Girl, Peter Pan, Chicago The Musical International Tour and We Will Rock You World Tour. He recently portrayed the role of Mizi in Hlakanyana, a role for which he won a Naledi Award for best supporting actor in a musical. Sibusiso looks forward to experiencing the magic of Disney in this production of The Magic Box.

As a singer, actor and dancer who trained in Musical Theatre at the Tshwane University of Technology, Tshepo’s career hit the ground running. Theatre credits include Showtime Management’s Priscilla Queen of The Desert SA and Hong Kong Tour which earned him three award nominations namely: Fleur du Cap, Broadway World and SAT Mag, all in the male featured role categories. Tshepo has starred in a slew of Janice Honeyman pantomimes between 2015 & 2023 as ensemble, Prince Charming and as associate choreographer, garnering him Naledi Theatre Award nominations. Furthermore, Tshepo starred in The Color Purple and Kinky Boots earning him a Fleur du Cap Award for his work in the roles of Lola-Alternate/Angel. Tshepo has also recently come off the Naledi and Fleur du Cap multi award-winning show We Will Rock You World Tour as a member of the ensemble.

Making her professional debut on the musical theatre stage, Hannah is thrilled to cut her teeth as a swing in Disney’s The Magic Box. Hailing from Durban, Hannah steps into the industry as a Luitingh Alexander Musical Theatre Academy (LAMTA) graduate with a BA cum laude in Drama from the University of Pretoria. Her passion for performance saw her featuring in the Young Performers Project’s Footloose (2014) and Soldiers in the City (2015), featuring as a soloist and winning the World Choir Games (2018), and as a finalist in Top Model SA (2019). Her role as swing in LAMTA’s Spring Awakening affirmed her love for the arts and this versatile performer is hungry for what comes next. Hannah continues as a voice artist, cultivating her craft and obsessing over dogs.

Graduating from GSPA with a Trinity-affiliated advanced performers diploma in musical theatre and an Elite level Hip-Hop performers qualification through AIDT. Logan's theatre credits include, Priscilla Queen of the Desert international tour, West Side Story, Ordinary Days, Janice Honeyman's Adventures in Pantoland, Calling Us Home, Oak Youth Theatre’s Kids Cruise, and the international tour of Matilda the Musical 2018/19/20/23/24. Logan has also performed in numerous events in and around the corporate scene including weddings, fundraisers, variety shows, tribute shows, and hotel entertainment to name a few. Logan's hobbies include, writing music, going for drives, singing, and expanding on his ever-underutilised knowledge of cars. LAMTA graduate, Austin, recently finished his musical theatre debut in MAMMA MIA!. He is excited to continue his musical theatre journey with Disney’s The Magic Box. His passion for dancing began at the age of nine years thereafter through Ballet and Flamenco and expanded towards musical theatre through the Musical Theatre Workshop (MTW) he found in the beginning of high school. Since then, he has worked on Peter Pan and Tinkerbell, Mephisto, Spring Awakening, Così and featured in series, commercials and music videos.

Gerard began his performing career in 2018 by winning a month-long musical theatre workshop with the Joffrey Ballet School. In 2019 he attained his Civil Engineering Degree at Stellenbosch University. In 2020 he changed tack and started studying at LAMTA and graduated in 2022: garnering him the Pieter Toerien Triple Threat Award. In 2023 he was a Fleur du Cap nominee for Most Promising Student. Since then, he has performed in exciting roles such as the MC in Buddy Holly The Buddy Holly Story 2023, Admiral von Schreiber in The Sound of Music 2023/24 and Hanschen Rilow in Spring Awakening 2024. Gerard is delighted to be part the Disney’s The Magic Box ensemble and humbly thanks Showtime Management and Fever for this very special opportunity. It’s finally happened: when you wish upon a star, your dreams come true.
